As a school nutrition professional, providing nutritious meals for students through the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs (NSLP and SBP) is of the upmost importance. But when the last bell of the school year rings, many of the children who rely on these programs throughout the year are left at serious risk of going hungry. The federal Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) can help bridge the hunger gap.
