Do youth seem disconnected, disinterested, or discouraged? Are you searching for meaningful and engaging ways to support them? This training explains how to use the pyramid support model to develop realistic and individualized supports for youth in school-age programs. This workshop is appropriate for all experienced staff.

Refocus Your Lens: Viewing Behavior as Communication – Wed May 8 – 6:30pm – FREE
There are many ways to look at behavior. In this module, participants will explore four common lenses used to view and think about behavior, focusing on how to view behavior as communication and accurately interpret the messages children and youth send with their behavior. This is appropriate for all staff.

A powerful introduction to inclusion for summer camp staff, this workshop introduces behavior and inclusion basic skills through fun and engaging activities. Topics covered include accommodations for day camp settings, working with families, and positive behavior supports. This workshop is appropriate for all staff.
