Randolph Community School Seeks to Fill Several Afterschool Positions
Child Care for 21-22 School Year (3)
Child Care Specialist – Community School Before and After Care Program – 2021-2022 School Year
The Child Care Specialist will be responsible assisting with the supervision of daily activities at a before or after care site. Primary responsibilities include producing relevant programming for children participating in the program, ensuring the security of children, and assisting the Site Manager in the overall administration of the program.
- Minimum of Associate’s Degree or 60 college credits
- County substitute certification or teaching certification
- Familiarity with the operations of a child care program
- Excellent communication skills
- SALARY RANGE: $18.50-$20.50 per hour
Program Aide – Community School Before and After Care Programs – 2021-2022 School Year
The Program Aide will be responsible assisting with the supervision of daily activities at a before or after care site. Primary responsibilities include producing relevant programming for children participating in the program, ensuring the security of children, and assisting the Site Manager in the overall administration of the program.
- Associate’s Degree or 60 college credits preferred
- County substitute certification or teaching certification preferred
- Familiarity with the operations of a child care program
- Excellent communication skills
- SALARY RANGE: $14.50-$17.50 per hour ($13.00 for high school students)
Site Manager – Community School – 2021-2022 School Year
The Site Manager will be responsible for supervising the daily activities at a before or after care site. Primary responsibilities include producing relevant programming for children participating in the program, ensuring the security of children, and supervising program staff.
- Minimum of Associate’s Degree or 60 college credits
- County substitute certification or teaching certification
- Familiarity with management of a child care program
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven supervisory skills
- Salary Range: $21.50-23.50 per hour; $25 for certified district teachers
Full-Time Position (1)
Anticipated Community School Programs Manager, Camps and Experiences -2020-2021 School Year
The Community School Programs, Camps and Experiences, creates, designs and monitors all aspects of programs for the Community School summer camps and enrichment programs. Working collaboratively with the Community School staff, Business Office, and administration at large, the Programs Manager is responsible for the following:
- Manages and hires staff for summer camps and other experiential programs
- Meets with staff to develop goals and introduce new initiatives
- Manages daily operation of summer camps, experiential programs, and enrichment programs
- Communicates with parents
- Manages staff payroll
- Assists Community School Director with other programs
- Prepares and delivers staff training to meet state and district requirements and needs
- Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as assigned by the Community School Director
Part-Time Positions (2)
Anticipated Community School Programs Manager, Marketing and Promotion-2020-2021 School Year
Part-Time Position (up to 29 hours per week; no benefits)
The Community School Programs Manager, Marketing and Promotion creates, designs and monitors all aspects of marketing for the Community School. This includes working with the Before/After Care Programs, Summer Camps, Enrichment Programs and Experiences. Working collaboratively with the Community School staff, Business Office, and administration at large, the Programs Manager is responsible for:
- Preparing marketing communications for distribution.
- Creates program information flyers and registration forms.
- Prepares program descriptions.
- Produces marketing timelines and schedules.
- Reviews engagement and prepares reports of potential enhancements.
- Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as assigned by the Community School Director.
The ideal candidate will have experience or education in marketing, promotion, graphic design, or experience working with Community Schools or Summer Camps, or similar programs.
Anticipated Community School Coordinator- 2020-2021 School Year
Half-Time (No Benefits)
Anticipated Salary $25,000
Preferred Qualifications:
- 60 college credits/substitute credential.
- Knowledge of basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office, Adobe programs.
- Prior office experience.
- Demonstrated aptitude for the successful performance of the tasks assigned.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate or acceptable.
- Notary or willingness to obtain licensure.
The Community School Coordinator’s main functions are assisting the Community School Director, Programs Manager, and Bookkeeper with Community School program operations and assisting with the overall function and security of the district’s Central Office.
Responsibilities:
Community School Coordinator:
- Manages program enrollment and sends program email reminders.
- Processes new hire paperwork.
- Maintains personnel and other records.
- Secures substitutes for programs as needed.
- Answers parent inquiries and helps parents find relevant Community School resources.
General Office Tasks:
- Manages the district mail process.
- Manages the visitor process, including verifying schedules with other employees, using Lobby Guard or other software to ensure security, and greeting all guests.
- Performs other office duties as assigned.

St Peter’s Church’s After School on South Seeks to Fill Several Positions

Mobile School # 862-579-8020 - Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am to 6pm
All positions will require individuals to assist children in grade levels Pre-K to Middle school. The program offers homework help and enrichment activities indoor and outdoor. Our licensing program and center has implemented several policies to ensure children and staff are safe. Our policies comply and support the New Jersey Department of Children and Family, the Department of Health and the Department Of Education. The center will require all individuals to wear face masks, participate in temperature checks and practice social distancing. All staff will be trained upon hire.
Positions:
- 3 openings for a Part time After School Teacher. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1pm to 6pm. Teaching and/or early childhood background preferred.
- 3 openings for a Part time After School Assistant Teacher. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1pm to 6pm. Teaching and/or early childhood background preferred.
- 3 openings for hallway/ school bus escorts. Monitor the hallways and/or assist with bus drop off. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12:45pm to 5:45pm.
- 1 maintenance person. Schedule: Monday to Friday 1pm to 6pm and two days a week from 9am to 1pm. 28-33 hours per week.
- 1 retired nurse or retired medical professional to assist with health and safety measures. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1pm to 6pm.
