NJSACC loves to host events in various areas of the state! If you are interested in becoming a host location for a future training, meeting, or conference, please let us know
Here’s a list of some of the things we look for in a host site:
· As a non-profit dedicated to providing services to our OST community throughout the state, we are currently looking for no or very low cost host sites.
· Must be conveniently located close to major roads & easily accessible from throughout the state &/or in a particular region – north, central, or south.
· We typically need a large, indoor, climate controlled conference room &/or gym that can accommodate approximately 40 people (or more depending on the event).
· Tables & chairs to accommodate all adult participants (approximately 40 or more depending on the event).
· Free parking on site for all participants.
· Site is inclusive & accessible.
· Staff person designated as the main contact to help coordinate logistics before & during the event.
· Occasionally, we also appreciate access to additional “classroom” type rooms with adult seating for smaller or breakout groups.
We do our best to be great guests! Here’s what we provide:
· FREE STAFF TRAINING! Depending on the nature of the event, we are typically able to provide up to 10 scholarships for the registered host site staff to participate cost free in the professional development event held at the site.
· We designate a NJSACC staff person to handle the logistics & communication.
· We strive to leave each area we use as we found it (or better!)
· We handle all aspects of the event including set up, break down, registration, sign in, evaluation, etc.
