Celebrate NJSACC’s incredible year of action and service and Become an Afterschool Hero!
Each year, NJSACC strengthens New Jersey’s afterschool and out-of-school-time field by training and supporting the professionals who serve more than 62,000 youth statewide. In 2025 alone, we convened 466 OST professionals for more than 60 workshops, resulting in 1,760 hours of high-quality professional development. These investments lift program quality, expand access, and create better outcomes for children and families—impact made possible in part through sponsorship partnerships.
NJSACC is New Jersey’s Afterschool and Out-of-School Time Professional Network. Our mission is to foster the growth, quality, and sustainability of out-of-school time providers, professionals, and organizations to expand access and opportunity for New Jersey’s youth and families. We address the challenges facing the OST workforce—including equity, access, capacity, and connection—to strengthen a valued profession that benefits young people, families, and communities.
We strive to contribute to a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive New Jersey through the following work:

- Working with state and local officials to inform OST-related policy and regulations
