NJSACC Highlights Becca Gutwirth For Shining in the Field!
Becca Gutwirth writes: “After working in a classroom for 10 years, I realized my love is really for informal education. Afterschool provides a place where students can explore their passions, guided by staff who can help them make connections to the real world. In our multi-age groups, kids develop a sense of family. The older students gain leadership skills and the younger ones have role models to help them build strong social skills. Everyone benefits from working together.”
