NJSACC's Spring Professional Development Series has arrived - register and join us!
NJSACC (New Jersey School-Age Child Care Coalition): New Jersey’s Afterschool and Out-of-School time (OST) Professional Network has been very busy preparing a full menu of professional development opportunities for the spring. We encourage you to take a look at each of the following offerings and then register to join us using the links provided below (where available):
Making connections with every child or youth in your program is not always easy, especially when a child or youth uses on-going concerning or unsafe behavior. In this module, participants have an opportunity to explore how self-reflection and acknowledgment can be used to build trust and positive relationships.

In this workshop, we’ll share tools to help your staff understand the importance of social-emotional skill development and easy-to-use strategies that can become part of your staff’s daily practice. A powerful introduction to inclusion for summer camp staff, this FREE virtual workshop with Phillip Collazo of Kids Included Together (KIT) introduces behavior and inclusion basic skills through fun and engaging activities. Topics covered include accommodations for school-age day camp settings, working with families, and positive behavior supports.
