Young people play, learn, and grow across the many settings and systems that you help lead. Policymakers and practice leaders suggest youth-serving staff and volunteers—like you—play an integral role in supporting youth to thrive. Yet, we have little collective information about this essential workforce.
In 2022, youth-serving staff and volunteers are invited to take the Power of Us Workforce Survey—a first of its kind study that seeks to understand the experiences of and pathways into the youth fields workforce. We want to know more about those who are still in the youth fields and those who left, so that we can explore, define, and elevate this collective workforce and your work with youth. This data will help to inform policy, practice, and further research to better support our youth fields workforce.
