Tips, Tricks, & Tools for Training Adult Learners - 10/4/22

Most of us are in the childcare field because we enjoy working with children, but, as school age program supervisors, trainers, coaches, and/or resource specialists, one of the key elements of our job is to empower our adult staff and providers through high quality training. Join us for this valuable virtual workshop where we’ll explore tips for gathering information about the adult learner’s strengths, interests and needs; tricks for navigating challenging conversations and interactions; and tools to strengthen our presentation and coaching skills. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their own experiences with engaging group activities and will leave with new resources for their training and coaching toolboxes. NJSACC training led by KIT’s (Kids Included Together) Phillip Collazo.
