NAA Email Roundtable: Great Ideas for Free!

Friday, March 8th, 2013

If there is one thing I know about afterschool professionals it is that you all are some of the most creative and resourceful people around! I am constantly amazed and impressed by the ingenious ways you make learning both fun and engaging for your students!

I think it’s time we harnessed that knowledge and shared it with each other so NAA is launching an “Email Roundtable”. A roundtable discussion is where a group of people come together and share ideas on a specific topic. The idea is that the more minds you have to solve a challenge the more ideas and solutions you’ll come up with. Since I cannot get all of you in one room, I am going to do it via email. Any NAA member or friend can submit ideas for crafts, games, decorations, family activities, online resources, and more based on the topic of the roundtable. With spring just around the corner, our first topic is going to be “Outdoor Games”. Simply email me your Outdoor Game idea and I will then compile them all and send them to the people that participated (for free!) via a downloadable ebook. By submitting just one outdoor game idea you’ll get access to tons of others! Email your Outdoor Game idea to: by April 19th to be included! Stay tuned in for future topics to come!
