DESCRIPTION:CANCELED: Join us on Wed Aug 5th 12:15pm for Million Girls Moonshot: Equity and Inclusion Framework\n\nWednesday, August 5, 2020\nTime: 3:15pm – 4:15pm EST (12:15-1:15 PM PT)\n\nExperts: Karen Peterson, Chief Executive Officer for the National Girls Collaborative, Alicia Santiago, and Brenda Britsch\nWorking with the National Girls Collaborative Project, STEM Next developed an Equity and Inclusion Framework to use as a guide for supporting programs as they identify resources and strategies that broaden participation. Two webinars will be offered to help participants learn about and how to apply the Framework. The first session will introduce the ways in which a framework is a useful tool.\nPresenters will share examples within broad categories for increasing access to STEM learning opportunities. The second session will delve more deeply into the specific strategies and tactics along with a special focus on cultural responsiveness.
