Food Resources
The Community Food Bank of NJ hosts an online tool to help NJ residents find food.
What is the federal government doing?
Congress passed the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, which provides several rule waivers to make it easier for schools, local government and community organizations to feed children and receive federal reimbursements. The act also provides additional funding for WIC and some flexibility in SNAP provisions.
In this rapidly changing environment, programs should stay in touch with their point of contact at the NJ Department of Agriculture.
