The following data highlight how well the comprehensive needs of New Jersey’s children are being met and show how the state compares with all other states. The action steps present initial ideas for how New Jersey citizens can make targeted and innovative improvements that equip the state’s students with the knowledge and skills they need to become productive, tax-paying adults who help New Jersey create a robust economy.

In order for our last roundtable meeting to align closer with the end of the school year without going into June, we are re-scheduling the April 10th NJSACC Public School OST Roundtable meeting to Thursday, May 22, 2014. The meeting will be held at the East Brunswick Board of Education building at 760 Rt. 18 in East Brunswick and will run from 10 a.m. to 12 noon sharp.

Please forward any items that you would like to have considered for the agenda. Since this will be the last meeting of the school year for our group, I hope that we have strong attendance at this roundtable meeting. Details are as follows:

If you operate a Licensed Afterschool Program, come join this valuable roundtable to share information, resources and network with colleagues. A representative from the Office of Licensing will attend this meeting to help answer questions.

New for this meeting! Several attendees asked about the possibility of continuing the conversation over lunch beginning at 12pm. So please feel free to bring a brown bag lunch or pop over to any of the many restaurants in downtown Westfield and pick something up. Our meeting space will be available until 2pm.
