Afterschool Science NJ
Please tell us what you think!
Liberty Science Center in partnership with NJSACC is interested in
talking with afterschool directors who want to implement
hands-on science activities in their programs,
but do not have a staff member with a science background.
Join us for an informal focus group/conversation to give feedback on integrating science into afterschool. Liberty Science Center, with funding from NJ DOE, has created a model called “Afterschool Science NJ” that has been piloted at 3 afterschool programs over the past year and a half. It is now time to make certain the curriculum can be implemented in different types of afterschool settings.
An overview of the curriculum will be presented,to be discussed with the field.
You will receive:
- 2 NJ DOE professional development hours
-2 free passes to the new Liberty Science Center
-a copy of the curriculum for your program
-a continental breakfast
