Soaring Beyond Expectations: A Statewide Afterschool Showcase

Purpose:
This Afterschool Showcase was created to highlight best practice methods utilized by New Jersey 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) Programs. This program is in partnership with NJ Department of Education and NJSACC, New Jersey’s Statewide afterschool network.
Workshops will cover a variety of areas that relate to program quality such as, linking to the school day, designing engaging activities, developing effective partnerships and collaborations, and effective evaluation practices.
This Afterschool Showcase is open statewide to all school districts, faith based agencies, community based agencies and others interested in utilizing afterschool, before school or summer school as a strategy to improve youth’s knowledge and skills and engage them in meaningful learning opportunities.
Who should attend:
*school personnel
* afterschool directors
* teachers
* youth workers
*and others interested in starting or enhancing an existing afterschool, before school or summer program
Time:
9 am – 3 pm

$25 [includes breakfast and lunch]
