Update:  The field trip to Rutgers Gardens for Celebrate Afterschool during the week of May 9, 2011, is now closed.

This publication has a national circulation, every person who attended the National AfterSchool Association’s Convention in DC received a copy!

May is Here! Celebrate Afterschool ! Outdoors in the Garden State

Enjoy the Beautiful Weather with Celebrate Afterschool!  Outdoors in the Garden State WeekThe sun is shining, flowers are blooming and kids are eager to play and learn outdoors.  Celebrate Afterschool! Outdoors in the Garden State Week is the perfect time to bring Springtime-themed activities to your afterschool program.  Next week, May 10-14, afterschool programs across New Jersey will participate by hosting special outdoor programs.

Activities range from nature-themed scavenger hunts to decorating pet rocks to recycle art.  We’d love to hear your creative ideas for Celebrate Afterschool!  Outdoors in the Garden State Week.  Please let us know your plans.
