Engage students of all ages in addressing hunger and poverty in their local communities, while linking them to a national youth-led movement!† Souper Bowl of Caring is a simple Season of Service project thatís transforming Super Bowl Weekend into a movement of giving and service.†† Participation will not only inspire your youth and community, but will also make your school a National School of Caring.† Schools across the country participate in Souper Bowl of Caring during the week leading up to Super Bowl Sunday (January 28-February 1, 2008).

Itís Easy!

†† 1. Register today at† to receive your FREE Resource Kit which includes an educational DVD, posters, stickers and more!
†† 2. Learn & Collect.

Tie the study of hunger and poverty to some area of the curriculum, organize a service project and collection of money, canned goods or other items for a nonprofit in your community that provides direct services to those in need.

†† 3. Report your total to Souper Bowl of Caring so your amounts can be added to the national tally.
†† 4. Donate 100% to the nonprofit of your choice and see what a difference one group can make!

Challenge Students to Explore Questions like:

††† * Why are people hungry and homeless in our community?
††† * How can we help?
††† * What are some organizations we can partner with to meet important community needs and influence real change?

In 2007, through the Souper Bowl of Caring, over 14,000 groups and an estimated 140,000 youth united to generate more than $8 million in donations to help their neighbors in need.†
